Something we all know but maybe don't do like we should. This week, let's focus on handwashing withour kids. Make it a point to let them see you wash your hands thoroughly, with soap, scrubbing the backs of them, and singing Happy Birthday as you do it! They can either sing this or their ABC's, whatever they prefer! Talk to them about why we do that. Everything we touch has germs, so we just want to be careful not to get sick!
The Swine Flu Vaccination, I am told, will not be available when the flu season actually starts. So, with school starting, it is a great time to really talk with your children and work together to ensure everyone's health and happiness this Fall! Good Luck!
